We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born separated from God with a sinful nature.
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man. He suffered and died for the sin of man, then rose from the dead for the justification of all who believe. He ascended into heaven as our High Priest and Advocate.
We believe that all who repent from sin and by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God. Their conversion to the likeness of Christ is lifelong, wrought by the Holy Spirit who dwells in them.
We believe in the “Blessed Hope,” the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust; the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting death of the lost along with Satan and the other fallen angels.
We believe that the Church is a spiritual organism made up of all believers in Christ; its visible marks are the proclamation of God’s Word and the celebration of the Sacraments.
